THE MARFAIEN
The wedding celebrations were loud in that beautiful night of a warm summer in Africa, in that quiet village that lays on the mighty Nile River banks . The people of the village were singing and having fun, powerful drums sounds were so high, people were either dancing around the dance floor or sitting in the chairs and most of them were the elderly of course. The bride was beautiful , where she and her sister were the most popular girls in the village because of their beauty. The bridegroom was from a place located to the far west of the village. He had heard about the beauty of the girl and came to her family to ask them to marry her . Since he looked a very rich man, the family has agreed immediately to complete the wedding and also he told them that he want to finish quickly because he were so busy and he wants to return back to his home soon. "The bridegroom seems strange", one of the elders of the villagers said to himself, but he did not know what was the strange thing about him till he noticed something very important ; This man does not blink with his eyes ! He stared at him carefully again and found that he really does not blink at all ! Extremely worry he went to the bride 's father and said to him :"If you would listen to my advice , stop this marriage at once!" The father looked at him surprised and said to him : "Oh friend! have you gone mad? What are you saying?" The elder man whispered to the father in his ears" if you complete this marriage, then know that you are throwing your daughter to non-human been". Suddenly, the elder man stopped talking and his eyes were opened widely in horrible terror! He saw the bridegroom staring at him directly in a way made his heart almost stops working. The elder man moved immediately away from the father and went out of the wedding humming with non understood words . The father bride turned his head to see his son-in low but he found him talking to his daughter with love and kindness. So he waved with his head and ignored the warning that he had heard from the old man .
After the end of the ceremony, everyone went to sleep, and the bride with her family gathered to make the preparation for her leaving with her husband to his home. The husband told the family that he is going to fetch a vehicle for traveling to his country. The family was happy with her new son in-low who were polite and rich too. In another place were the elder man was living. A horrible thing was going to happen. The elder man was sleeping in the yard of his wide house, when he heard strange noises coming from outside his house it looked like a wounded creature. He got up from his bed called in a panic voice:" Who 's there ?" "Any one out there?" He repeated the questions again and again but no one answered. He began to smell his fear and the beating of his heart was getting louder and faster. He grab a stick near the door and stand next to the door listening carefully. The sound has disappeared like nothing were there. He opened the door slowly although his instinct told him not to do. He looked to the empty road, there were nothing. Suddenly he felt a movement to the left , so he turned his face out of the door to see what it was. There, it was the last thing he did before his head was flying away from his body and thickly blood drowned all the ground. I think before his head flew away he remembered the wisdom curiosity killed the cat! In the dark road a very big shade of something moved holding the dead body away.
